Keputusan PRESIDEN ini mulai berlaku pada tanggal ditetapkan. Agar setiap orang mengetahuinya, memerintahkan pengundangan Keputusan PRESIDEN ini dengan penempatannya dalam Lembaran Negara Republik INDONESIA. Ditetapkan di Jakarta pada tanggal 29 Mei 1989 Diundangkan di Jakarta PRESIDEN REPUBLIK INDONESIA pada tanggal 29 Mei 1989 MENTERI/SEKRETARIS NEGARA SOEHARTO MOERDIONO LEMBARAN NEGARA REPUBLIK INDONESIA TAHUN 1989 NOMOR 15 AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE GERMAN DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC ON ECONOMIC AND TECHNICAL COOPERATION The Government of the Republic of INDONESIA of INDONESIA and the Government of the German Democratic Republic (herein after referred to as "the Parties") guided by the desire to develop and their economic and technical cooperation on the basis of the existing good relations and principles of sovereign equality of states and non- interference in internal affairs as well as on the basis of the principle of equality and mutual advantage, have agreed as follows : Article 1 The Parties shall end endeavour to promote the decelopment of economic and technical cooperation between the two countries in conformity with their national laws and regulations. Article 2 The Parties shall encourage, within their competences, the development of the economic and technical cooperation between the respective organizations and enterprises of both countries, state as well as private enterprises of the Republic of INDONESIA and the competent enterprises and organization of the German Democratic Republic in the areas being a subject of common interest. Article 3 The economic and technical cooperation shall be effected in accordance with the capabilities and requirements as well as with the terms and conditions to be agreed upon between the competent enterprises and organization of the two countries in conformity with the laws and regulations in force in each country. The possible areas of cooperation shall be identified during the Joint Commission meetings. The detailed provisions relating to forms and methods as well as the conditions of such cooperation in the agreed areas shall be laid down in separate arrangements and/or contracts concluded between the competent enterprises and organizations of the two countries. Article 4 The deliveries of goods and services, including payments arising from the economic and technical cooperation under this Agreement, shall be effected according to the provisions of the Trade Agreement in force between the Government of the Republic of INDONESIA and the Government of the German Democratic Republic, unless otherwise agreed upon in the present Agreement. Article 5 The technical documentation and information being exchange between the respective enterprises and organizations of both countries in pursuance of the present Agreement shall not be made available or disclosed to third Parties without the consent of the Party providing the documentations and/or the information. Article 6 The Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation agreed upon between the two Parties on 6 January 1983 shall monitor the smooth implementation of cooperation under the present Agreement. Article 7 Amy dispute between the Parties arising out of interpretation and implementation of the present Agreement shall be settled amicably consultations and negotiations. Article 8 The present Agreement shall come into force on the day of the last notification by which the Parties inform each other, through diplomatic channels, of the fulfilment of the respective constitutional requirements for the entry force of the present Agreement. Article 9 The present Agreement is concluded for a period of three year and shall be automatically extended for subsequent periods of one year unless either of the Parties terminates it in writing six monthe prior to its expiry. Article 10 Termination of the present Agreement shall not affect the validity or duration of any arrangement and/or contract made under the present Agreement untul the completion of such arrangement and/or contract.
